Associação Criança Feliz

Happy Child Association is an entity that builds its history in the care of hundreds of children, teenagers and their families and families in situations of social vulnerability, residents of the Fátima Baixo neighborhood and 12 other neighborhoods in the Northern Region of Caxias do Sul/RS.

PROJETOS

Currently, it performs about 230 daily visits – to children and teenagers from 06 to 15 years - through the projects:

Coexistence Groups: A space for daily care, from Monday to Friday, in the opposite shift to the school. The groups are formed by children and teenagers, under the guidance of a social educator, aiming at sociability, coexistence, strengthening family and community bonds through artistic, cultural, sports, leisure and nutrition activities, food security, among others.;
Workshops: A daily space designed to enhance and qualify the actions of the Coexistence Groups. The activities are carried out in small groups, based on individual and group skills and interests, enabling access to sociocultural practices, which provide the development of new sociability and citizen education. ;

Food: In order to complement the feeding of young people, two meals per shift are served daily for the children and teenagers participating in the project. The menu is developed by a nutritionist and includes the nutrients needed for a healthy diet.;
