Make-A-Wish® Brasil’s mission is to grant the wishes of children with life-risking illnesses, enrichening the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. For a child whose future is threatened by a severe illness, to have a wish granted means that everything is possible, that it’s worth it to believe. For a moment, the child can forget everything and just be a kid. Make-A-Wish® Brasil is one of 41 organizations affiliated with Make-A-Wish® International, one of the most well-known and respected institutions in the world that supports children, present in over 50 countries in five continents.
Founded in 2008, Make-A-Wish® Brasil is certified by the Conselho Municipal dos Direitos da Criança e do Adolescente – CMDCA (“Municipal Council of Children’s and Adolescents’ Rights) and grants children’s wishes all over the country, with the help of a network of wish volunteers and partners that collaborate with financial, product, and service resources.
